The HTRC provides routine tissue formalin fixation, processing, paraffin embedding and microtomy. Paraffin-embedded or frozen tissue specimens are sectioned either the standard way (4 um) or utilizing protocols specifically tailored to the requirements of each individual project (multiple sections per slide, multiple levels, thin, thick sections, TMA sections, etc). H&E staining and immunohistochemical staining can also be performed on paraffin as well as frozen section slides.
All histology requests are to be dropped off in P-616. Please download the histology request form PDF and complete all required fields. Questions regarding project status should be directed to 4-8394.
